Overview

The Core Systems team at Point72 is responsible for developing and maintaining the fundamental technological infrastructure that underpins the firm's trading, research, and data operations. This includes building highly robust, scalable, and performant backend systems and managing critical data pipelines. The role supports various teams, ensuring the firm has reliable and efficient technology to drive its quantitative and discretionary investing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex backend software solutions that meet high standards for performance and reliability.
Manage and optimize data storage solutions and pipelines, ensuring data integrity and availability.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including trading, research, and data science teams, to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Maintain system security, stability, and overall performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
Actively participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and contribute to technical decision-making processes.

Required Skills
