Overview

Abnormal AI is actively seeking a Software Engineer II to join its team, focusing on leveraging AI-native technologies to transform cybersecurity. This role offers an opportunity to significantly contribute to the development of AI-powered applications, utilizing advanced Generative AI tools to build efficient and smart software. The position is hybrid and based in Bangalore, India.

Key Responsibilities

Apply strong judgment in utilizing AI tools to explore solutions, refine outputs, and deliver robust production outcomes.
Enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and automate repetitive tasks through AI-augmented development.
Develop backend services and workflows aimed at improving customer onboarding processes, making them smoother, faster, and more self-serve.
Architect scalable systems to provide comprehensive visibility across onboarding processes and minimize dependencies on other modules.
Improve core backend systems related to tenant management, onboarding orchestration, setup tools, and command center experiences.
Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions for both customers and internal stakeholders.
Construct reliable APIs and backend architectures capable of supporting enterprise-grade onboarding workflows at scale.
Take full ownership of features, from initial design and implementation through testing, rollout, and post-production validation.

Required Skills

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.
Proficiency in backend development using Python and/or Golang.
Practical experience with AI development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.
Demonstrated experience or strong interest in building scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
Familiarity with major cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
