About the Role

KPMG India is seeking a skilled SAP Datasphere Developer to work on data modeling, transformation, and ETL within SAP Datasphere. The role involves designing semantic data models, building data pipelines, configuring Data Builder, creating and optimizing CDS views, managing replication flows, and ensuring compliance with data governance and performance best practices while collaborating with functional and analytics teams.

Responsibilities

Design and implement semantic data models in SAP Datasphere using business layer and analytical models.
Develop data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and harmonization of data from multiple sources.
Configure Data Builder for creating tables, views, and transformations.
Create and optimize CDS views for data extraction from SAP S/4HANA or ECC systems.
Set up and manage Replication Flows for real-time and batch data synchronization.
Build task chains to automate jobs.
Implement Data Access Control for data‑level authorizations.
Build SQL‑based views.
Use Data Integration Monitor to troubleshoot and optimize replication performance.
Assess SAP roadmap impact on Datasphere and ensure compliance with data governance, security policies, and performance best practices.
Collaborate with functional and analytics teams to deliver end‑to‑end data solutions, covering Data Builder, Business Builder, Data Integration, and SQL‑based views.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in commerce, engineering, technology or related field; postgraduate degree (MBA/PGDM/MCA/MTech) is a plus.
ICWA/CA Final qualification preferred.
Strong problem‑solving, analytical, incident‑resolution, and critical‑thinking skills.
Proactive, creative, and a can‑do attitude with quality decision‑making ability.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
SAP certification preferred.
Hands‑on experience with SAP Datasphere core components, CDS Views, OData connections, and APIs for data extraction.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP certification.
ICWA/CA Final qualification.
